What a day!

I really drank a lot of water today
Exercise
20 min stairmaster - level 3
25 min elliptical machine
I went back to the gym tonight and did 20 more min on the stairmaster ( levels 3 and 4)
3 reps 8lb are lifts
Today was a great day, I'm feelling much more motivated.

A New Favorite

Today, I tried to do the first 4 days of Dr. Ian's diet which basically consisted of psyllium, beans, fruit, veggies and brown rice.
I did it almost perfectly til tonight when I had a pack of the new Speacial K crackers. I don't know what it is but at night I just have to have something that is not what I'm supposed to be eating! urgh! So frustrating when I make it through the whole day and have it end like this. Although the crackers where healthy it wasn't on my list of foods to eat today.
I will try this again tomorrow.
Food - all of what I stated above.
Exercise - 10 min- starimaster
15 min elliptical
10 min treadmill
10 min stairmaster

Very Quick Post

breakfast on the go by Emerald, it includes nuts,cranberries, oats etc. I put this in yogurt.It is soooo good.

Veggies!

I'm trying to incorporate more veggies! I bought the biggest bag ever of the normandy blend veggies from WalMart. It has a combination of broccoli, carrots, cauliflower,zucchini, and squash. I steamed them in olive oil and it was pretty good, my 3 year old just finished eating some and said "mama this is good". If a 3 year old can eat it I can!

lean cuisine hot pocket -chicken,spinach, low fat cheese and mushrooms, it was pretty good considering I don't like cheese! i could barely taste the cheese in this one

I've been drinking water however not as much as I should have by now. I'm posting this early because I have plans to get some scrappin' done tonight or at least try to get the room organized!

Off ot the Gym I go!

Today I went to the gym to change up my exercise a bit. I did the elliptical machine for 35 min and moved on to weights!
had my vitamin, the new one is much easier to take instead of the chewable one i had been taking.
Food:
oatmeal with a few just bunches, 1/2 banana
clementine
piece of sugar free candy cane
roast beef sandwich on wheat bread with mustard
talapia
brown rice
broccoli
few chips (oops! LOL)
on the flip side I did get in all of me water - woohoo 64 oz's

Back to it!

I hopped back on the wagon today after resting a day because of sore muscles! I did the stepper today as my exercise.
I had my vitamin (I bought a new multivitamin today,(one a day woman)
more water today - yippee
honey nut cheerios, cheese crackers, healthy choice meal(fish over rice, broccoli,a nd apple crisp) I also had an additional serving of broccoli.
I went grocery shopping today so I will start having more of a variety of foods! The pantry was pretty empty because of all of the traveling over the holidays!

I will have two posts today!!

I did not get this in on time (it's 12:13 a.m.) so this is journaling from Saturday!
Not much done in the execise department today cause I am sooooo sore! I will pick up exercising tomorrow! I spent all day last night trying to finish my layouts for the unit meeting I thought was Saturday but it was Friday! This can't be how I'm starting off 2009! LOL
I am going to try Becky Higgins Project 365, so the journaling for this will be incorporated into that as well as my healthy journal.
I got my vitamins in woo hooo! Ate pretty healthy - clementine, honey nut cheerios tuna, turkey club, fries (I know, not so healthy huh?) any way gotta be honest!
I did drink some water today, still not enough though. I pretty much drank vitamin water all day.

Second post today

Biggest Loser Bootcamp DVD - level 2 ( I should have started with level 1) LOL
which included 5 min. warm-up and 5. min cooldown and 20. min of kickbutt cardio and strength training!

Had my vitamin and oatmeal
Only 3 glasses of h20 - need to drink more!

Will do 5 min. on stepper before bed

Okay, so now i'm journaling! I'm trying something new to help with this thing called accountability. I think it might help if I journal what type of exercise I'm doing, foods I've eaten and tips I've learned to get healthy and stay healthy!
